This Grade II listed Single Storey Cottage was formerly the gamekeeper’s larder for the Newlands Manor estate and was converted for domestic use in the early 1950's. The cottage has ample parking and a large sheltered garden, surrounded by a high hedge containing wire netting to keep pets from straying. The kitchen, the sitting room and the main bedroom all have windows looking on to the garden. Gothic Cottage has full gas central heating with thermostatic control, a log fire and an electric fan heater. There is double glazing throughout. You enter the cottage through the well fitted kitchen,which leads to the 20 foot lounge with an armchair and a writing desk in the two bay windows. There are two bedrooms; the main one with a double bed looks on to the garden and the other has bunk beds which are 3 foot wide and 6 foot long and are suitable for children and adults. A cot can be installed in the second bedroom as well. The bathroom does not have a bath, but it has a shower cubicle with a thermostatic shower and a toilet. Particular features...
